Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, electronics, or related engineering field, or 8 years' substitute experience.
• 2+ years of IT technical support, help desk, or system administration experience.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Support the Government with installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems and equipment, ensuring optimal operation and user satisfaction.
• Assist remote and desk-side technical support, responding to IT tickets, and performing diagnostic and repair activities on hardware and software.
• Aid in setting up and maintaining user accounts, interfacing with software applications, compiling reports, and responding to customer requests.
• Assist in maintaining Active Directory and system accounts, support connectivity and client applications, and support LAN/WAN services.
• Monitor open tickets in VA’s ServiceNow system to ensure adherence to processes, report discrepancies with proposed corrective actions.
• Handle equipment returns, deployments, unboxing, inventory, and verification.
• Possess capability to lift up to 50 pounds and move around for access and repair work.
• Stand and move around the work area for prolonged periods.
