Kentro is hiring an experienced Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point Support and Operations Monitoring under a nationwide contract. The role combines onsite and remote support across VA sites, including the William S.

Middleton Memorial Veterans Hospital in Madison, WI, with a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:30pm CST schedule. Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, Active Directory upkeep, and incident management in ServiceNow, with emphasis on patient and

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or other engineering or technical discipline or 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education.
2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

Support the Government with installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems and equipment.
Deliver both remote and desk-side technical support, respond to IT support tickets, perform diagnostics and repairs on hardware and software.
Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, interfacing with software applications, compiling reports, and responding to customer requests.
Maintain Active Directory and other system accounts, support connectivity and client applications, and assist in configuration and support of network services.
Monitor VA’s ServiceNow tickets to ensure processes are followed and report discrepancies with corrective actions.
