Job summary

Kentro is seeking a Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring, nationwide. This onsite role is based at the Charlotte Hall VA Clinic, MD, with occasional remote support. You will diagnose issues, guide users through fixes, and log activities in ServiceNow and AD.

Responsibilities include system administration tasks, ticketing, and surge-capacity travel while complying with VA requirements and Kentro policies.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science, electronics engineering, or a technical discipline or 8 years of relevant experience can substitute education.
2+ years of IT technical support, help desk, or system administration experience.
Must meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

Support the Government with installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of computer systems and equipment.
Deliver remote and desk-side technical support, respond to IT tickets, and perform diagnostics and repairs on hardware and software.
Assist in setting up and maintaining user accounts, interfacing with software applications, and compiling reports.
Maintain Active Directory and system accounts, support connectivity and client applications, and assist in network services configuration.
Monitor ServiceNow incidents, follow processes, and propose corrective actions for approval.
Handle equipment deployment, returns, inventory, and verification; lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
