Job summary

Kentro is seeking an experienced Customer Service Engineer to support VA-ESOM End Point and Operations Monitoring on-site in Salt Lake City, UT. The role requires diagnosing issues, guiding users through fixes, and performing routine system administration tasks.

The position offers Monday–Friday daytime hours, with travel and security clearance requirements as applicable. This is a hands-on technical support role inside a government contracting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 8 years of additional relevant experience may substitute for education.
• 2+ years of experience in IT Technical Support, Help Desk or System Administration.
• Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, test, and troubleshoot computer systems and equipment onsite.
• Provide remote and desk-side IT support and handle tickets.
• Set up and maintain user accounts and assist with network services.
• Monitor Active Directory and system logs and assist in the configuration and support of local and wide area networks.
• Track tickets in ServiceNow and propose corrective actions for approval.
• Lift equipment up to 50 pounds and move around facilities as needed.
