Job summary

BambooHR is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to support our Draper, UT headquarters. This in-office role requires hands-on IT support for Windows and macOS workstations, AV equipment, and conference rooms.

You will troubleshoot hardware, provisioning devices, and assist with network issues while delivering white-glove service to staff. The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and readiness for occasional events or after-hours support.

Qualifications

• 1+ years experience in a Help Desk, Tech Support, or A/V Support role.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• An ability to learn and communicate technical information clearly to all levels of the organization.
• Experience with computer hardware repair and maintenance.
• Ability to lift 40+ lbs and work primarily onsite in our Draper office.

Responsibilities

• Help end users resolve technical workstation issues (both Windows and macOS).
• Provision new IT equipment (laptops, monitors, and specialized A/V hardware).
• Provide A/V support for company meetings, including executive-led and large meetings, and maintain conference rooms and Zoom Rooms to ensure they are fully functional and meeting-ready.
• Troubleshoot network issues (VLANs, Routing, Switching) as they relate to workstations and A/V endpoints.
• Automate job responsibilities—leveraging AI tools where applicable—for continued efficiency.
• Contribute to the ongoing documentation and runbooks of our systems and processes.
• Provide occasional off-hours or offsite support for special events with advance notice.
