Job summary

Traeger is seeking an IT Helpdesk Technician to provide frontline support across our corporate environment from our Salt Lake City headquarters. You will handle end-user devices, A/V systems, and collaboration tools, ensuring devices stay secure and up to date.

The role combines Microsoft 365/Azure AD administration with hands-on device management and conference room support. Strong troubleshooting and clear communication are essential in a fast-paced, team-driven culture.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on IT helpdesk/desktop support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure/Entra ID, and Windows/macOS administration.
• Experience with MDM tools, ideally Microsoft Intune and Kandji (IRU), or comparable platforms.
• Comfort with A/V equipment: setup, firmware updates, and troubleshooting for conferencing/sound systems.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and ability to communicate with non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1/2 helpdesk support for hardware, software, and network issues via ticketing system, phone, and in-person.
• Administer and support end-user devices (Windows and macOS) using Microsoft Intune and Kandji (IRU) for enrollment, policy deployment, compliance, and remote management.
• Support Microsoft 365 / Azure AD administration: user provisioning, licensing, group policy/conditional access basics, password/MFA resets.
• Manage and troubleshoot A/V systems in conference rooms and shared spaces, including firmware/software updates and room setup.
• Image, configure, and deploy new laptops/desktops and manage asset lifecycle (onboarding/offboarding).
• Document recurring issues, contribute to knowledge base, and identify opportunities to automate or improve processes.
• Escalate complex issues to Tier 2/3, Networking, or DevOps/Infrastructure teams with clear documentation.
• Assist with basic networking troubleshooting (Wi‑Fi, VPN, printers, conference room connectivity).
• Support physical office IT needs: workstation setup, peripheral troubleshooting, cabling, and equipment moves.
