Job summary

Syncreon, based in Union City, GA, seeks an IT Field Services Technician to coordinate daily IT operations at the site. You will support desktops, networks, servers, and DR planning while engaging with the DP World team to ensure smooth plant IT functions.

The role requires delivering hands-on fixes, documenting processes, and generating ad hoc reports using Qlik Sense and PowerBI. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Community College diploma required, university degree preferred (or educational equivalent) and/or significant relevant experience.
• Experience with Warehouse Management systems in a shop floor environment would be desirable.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English (and local site language, if applicable).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain standards in desktop, WAN, LAN, servers, and disaster recovery per system requirements.
• Provide diagnostic support to the System/Network Engineering Teams and Service Desk.
• Offer first-level incident support, and participate in problem/change management including after-hours support.
• Develop ad hoc reports using Qlik Sense and PowerBI for site needs.
• Report IT downtime and changes to production schedules using approved procedures.
• Build and maintain knowledge of critical operational software and processes to train site users.
