Job summary

QBE, LLC is seeking an on-site IT support specialist for Virginia Beach, VA. You will act as the on-site decision-maker, handling desktops, mobile devices, printers, and networking with responsibility for incident resolution and vendor coordination.

The role requires US citizenship, an active Secret Clearance, DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I certification, and ability to travel up to 25% to support regional sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience (or equivalent).
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance (T3/T3R) to start.
• Continuous Evaluation / Continuous Vetting enrollment.
• DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline cert required before cybersecurity duties.
• Experience in desktop support, field service, or help desk.
• Windows 10/11, PC hardware, printers, mobile devices, basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site IT decision-maker for regional sites and resolve escalated incidents.
• Coordinate with remote Tier II/III and vendors when needed.
• Determine deployment and refresh approach for site workstations and perform imaging.
• Assess printers, VoIP, VTC, and conference room equipment issues and coordinate action.
• Evaluate and guide mobile device onboarding and policy-compliant actions.
• Analyze asset records and suggest refresh, redeployment, or disposition actions.
• Ensure resolutions meet customer needs and document procedures for reuse.
• Assess security posture and report findings to remote teams.
