Job summary

QBE, LLC is seeking an Onsite Anchor/Field Support Technician to serve as the on-site IT decision-maker for regional and field locations, handling desktops, printers, mobile devices, and network issues. You will determine resolution paths, coordinate with remote teams, and own the customer outcome.

The role requires travel within the region (up to 25%), independent judgment, and the ability to represent IT at site leadership. This is an onsite role in Andover, MA with federal compliance context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1 year of related experience (or substitute as allowed).
• U.S. Citizen.
• Active Secret Clearance (T3/T3R) to start.
• Continuous Evaluation / Continuous Vetting enrolled.
• Current DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level I baseline certification prior to cybersecurity duties.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Experience in desktop support, field service, help desk, or IT hardware installation.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10/11, PCs, peripherals, printers, mobile devices, and basic networking.

Responsibilities

• Serve as on-site IT decision-maker for regional locations, analyzing incidents to determine root cause.
• Determine if issues can be resolved locally or require remote teams or vendors.
• Plan deployment and refresh of site workstations with imaging and data migration.
• Coordinate printer, VoIP, VC endpoints, and conference room support with vendors as needed.
• Onboard mobile devices and manage MDM enrollment.
• Analyze site asset records and recommend refresh or disposition actions.
• Verify resolution effectiveness and document site procedures for reuse.
• Assess site health and security, implement secure configurations and remediation.
