Job summary

VC3 is seeking a Service Technician to provide hands-on support at client sites across hardware, software, and networks in Minnesota. You will travel to client locations, install and configure hardware and software, and resolve on-site issues, including printer and network connectivity.

Expect collaboration with the Service Coordinator to manage schedules and communications. The role requires strong Windows Client OS and Microsoft 365 expertise, plus VPN/RDS/Citrix familiarity.

Qualifications

• 2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year of experience in Service Technician I or II roles at VC3
• 2 years of experience managing Windows Client Operating Systems (10, 11), Microsoft/Office 365, Virus and Security, TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS
• CJIS requirements post-employment compliance

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on support at client sites across hardware, software, and networks
• Drive to client sites as scheduled and communicate delays to the Service Coordinator
• Install and set up computer hardware, software, and peripherals
• Troubleshoot and resolve onsite workstation and printer issues
• Support connectivity issues involving ISPs, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, VPN, RDS, and Citrix
• Educate and guide clients on technical standards and best practices
• Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets
• Recommend improvements to supported hardware and software
• Maintain accurate real-time timesheets and complete troubleshooting and client communication notes
• Follow the VC3 Way standards and processes to deliver predictable customer results
• Perform additional duties as assigned
