Job summary

VC3, Inc. in Grand Rapids, MN, is seeking an IT Field Engineer I to provide hands-on support at client sites, resolving hardware, software and network issues, and ensuring client success through timely resolution and clear communication.

You will work hybrid with onsite visits and collaborate across VC3 teams to deliver reliable IT services. You will drive to client sites, install hardware and software, troubleshoot issues, educate clients on standards, log notes, and contribute to continuous

Qualifications

2 years of relevant technical experience OR 1 year in VC3 Service Technician roles.
Experience with Windows Client Operating Systems, Office 365, security software, and core networking basics.

Responsibilities

Drive to client sites as scheduled and communicate delays promptly.
Install and set up new computer hardware, software and peripherals.
Troubleshoot and resolve onsite issues related to workstations and printers.
Collaborate with VC3 staff for connectivity issues including VPN, RDS and Citrix.
Educate clients on technical standards and best practices.
Identify recurring issues and initiate problem tickets.
Recommend improvements to hardware and software.
Maintain accurate timesheets and notes of troubleshooting with clients.
