Job summary

Marc Fisher Footwear is seeking a Site IT Engineer to serve as the primary onsite IT representative at our Redlands distribution center. You will provide day-to-day technology support, troubleshoot warehouse systems, manage assets and spares, and coordinate with Corporate IT and approved vendors.

The role emphasizes cloud-hosted WMS integration, wireless devices in operations, and becoming the eyes and hands of Corporate IT at the facility.

Qualifications

• Four or more years of hands-on IT support or infrastructure experience.
• Strong Windows endpoint and hardware troubleshooting.
• Solid TCP/IP fundamentals with working knowledge of DHCP and DNS.
• Experience supporting printers and peripherals.
• Experience with an enterprise ticketing or ITSM platform.
• Ability to work with remote technical teams and vendors, communicate clearly with nontechnical staff, and prioritize by operational impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite user and endpoint support for desktops, laptops, tablets, RF scanners, printers and conference room tech.
• Lead warehouse technology first response across receiving, putaway, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory interfaces with WMS/ERP/TMS.
• Perform incident triage to classify issues and escalate appropriately to Senior WMS Analyst or Corporate IT as needed.
• Troubleshoot wired/wireless network connectivity, switches, APs, cabling, circuits, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Diagnose RFID/WMS device connections, document impacts by device and location, and escalate RF coverage concerns.
• Maintain MDF/IDF spaces, rack diagrams, patch panels and cabling, coordinating with vendors.
• Coordinate onsite changes per IT procedures, enforce change freezes, and participate in preventive maintenance.
• Serve as onsite incident coordinator, communicate status to Operations, and support post-incident reviews.
