Job summary

Techounds LLC is seeking an onsite IT Technical Support Specialist to join our IT team in Camarillo. The role involves supporting end users, managing our IT infrastructure including workstations, servers, networks, and business systems, and enabling new technology solutions in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on network and systems administration.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs.
• Experience with network hardware (Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent).
• Familiarity with Windows Server and Linux.
• Knowledge of network security practices.
• Basic scripting (PowerShell or Bash) is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to handle sensitive information securely.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain network hardware and infrastructure components.
• Monitor performance; diagnose and resolve issues across endpoints and servers.
• Administer Active Directory and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Deploy and manage Windows systems; apply patches and updates.
• Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Assist with server operations and VM provisioning (Nutanix, VMware, Hyper-V).
• Maintain documentation of network topology and infrastructure diagrams.
• Coordinate with vendors for escalated issues.
