Job summary

Rural King seeks an experienced DC IT Technician to support IT operations in our distribution center. You will install, maintain, troubleshoot, and support hardware, software, and network systems critical to distribution center functions.

Responsibilities include on-site support for PCs, scanners, printers, RF devices, and warehouse systems; coordinating with IT teams on upgrades and deployments; and ensuring systems run reliably while documenting procedures for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years IT field support experience or equivalent.
• Associate’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• WMS experience: HighJump, Körber, Manhattan, or Infios.
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira).
• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+ preferred.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes and basic project coordination.
• Proficient with Windows OS, Office 365, AD, and remote tooling.
• Experience supporting RF handhelds and warehouse gear.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite IT support for desktops, laptops, tablets, printers, and scanners.
• Troubleshoot and maintain warehouse systems and network equipment.
• Monitor tickets and incidents, aiming to minimize downtime.
• Support application rollouts, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.
• Manage hardware inventory and RMA processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Document procedures and configurations clearly.
• Offer after-hours support for emergencies.
