Job summary

SWK Technologies is seeking an On-Site Engineer to join our team. You will provide hands-on support to clients, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and manage deployments and upgrades at customer sites.

The role emphasizes direct customer interaction, clear communication, and maintaining up-to-date documentation across hardware, software, and network configurations. This is an on-site position in a client-facing environment with opportunities to optimize customer systems.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues on-site.
• Experience managing Microsoft 365 user accounts, licensing, and access.
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for on-site support requests.
• Support peripherals and printers, including drivers and docking stations.
• Manage hardware lifecycle: builds, returns, repairs, replacements.
• Administer Microsoft 365 tenant: user mgmt, licensing, password resets, OneDrive/SharePoint access.
• Perform first-level troubleshooting of applications delivered through Parallels; escalate with diagnostics.
• Maintain building network: switches, Wi-Fi, basic firewall changes.
• Keep documentation up-to-date for IT hardware, software, and network configurations.
