Job summary

System One in Miami, FL is seeking a Client Services Supervisor to oversee Housing Specialists and ensure timely, quality service delivery. You will monitor caseloads, provide coaching, and lead performance evaluations while ensuring compliance with program requirements and funding guidelines.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with at least 3 years in social services and 1 year in a supervisory capacity. Onsite work and a 40-hour week are expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or related field strongly preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social services or housing programs, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
• Rent Calculation Certification is required.
• Strong understanding of housing systems, client-centered service delivery, and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of Housing Specialists within the housing services program.
• Monitor caseloads and service outcomes to meet program goals and client needs.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings, providing coaching and professional development.
• Complete annual performance evaluations and develop individualized plans.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, data entry, reporting, and funding guidelines.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
• Foster a positive team environment and retention.
• Serve as liaison between frontline staff and upper management.
• Participate in case reviews and interdepartmental coordination.
• Address escalated client issues and guide complex cases.
• Support quality assurance through audits and continuous improvement.
• Stay informed on housing policies and best practices.
