Job summary

HousingPlus is seeking a dynamic Program Supervisor to implement and monitor service delivery across scattered site and congregate housing programs. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with funder regulations, and collaborate with leadership to maintain high occupancy rates while coordinating services for families and individuals facing housing instability.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, with experience in supportive housing and on-call

Qualifications

Experience in emergency, transitional, or permanent supportive housing settings with families with histories of homelessness, serious mental illness, substance abuse, and criminal justice involvement.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability in planning.
Ability to establish and maintain meaningful relationships.
Ability to coordinate services to meet ongoing needs of individuals served.
High energy, goal-oriented, and able to inspire people.
Works well with a team.
Experience with AWARDS (Foothold Technology) strongly preferred.
Evening and weekend availability (rotating schedule) for emergency on call.
Bilingual Spanish a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Supervise case managers and support staff on a daily basis.
Ensure compliance with HP and funder regulations and reporting requirements.
Collaborate with the Program Director to maintain occupancy rate of 90% or above by monitoring vacancies, recruiting participants, and working with the Property Manager.
Assist the Program Director and HR Manager in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and orientation of new staff.
Develop program manuals, policies, and procedures with the Program Director in accordance with funder and HousingPlus requirements.
Conduct continuous needs assessment of program and participants' needs.
Coordinate and monitor service delivery to achieve program, organizational, and individual goals and outcomes.
Provide case management and support services as needed in the absence of case managers, including intakes and assessments.
Conduct regular supervision sessions with direct reports, providing support, guidance, and performance feedback.
Lead team meetings with direct reports.
Review and approve timesheets, vacation requests, and other supervisory functions.
Provide crisis intervention and conflict resolution when needed.
Complete and submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports and updates as required.
Conduct quality assurance activities on AWARDS data and tenant chart maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory agency requirements and HousingPlus standards for data entry, development of quarterly service plans, and annual HMIS uploads.
Schedule, organize and attend staff, departmental meetings and other meetings as needed.
Collaborate with the Program Director and other HP staff to organize and facilitate participant activities and events.
Work with Property Management to ensure apartments meet standards for apartment maintenance and annual inspections.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with property management and other community stakeholders.
Other tasks as assigned.
