Family Service League Inc. in Bay Shore, NY is seeking a full-time Housing Services Supervisor for the Home Program. You will lead staff, manage housing referrals, and ensure coordination with partners to secure permanent housing for clients.

The role requires strong leadership, excellent written and verbal communication, and experience in housing/homeless services. A NYS driver's license is preferred and the team emphasizes ethical standards and client-centered service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred.
• At least 3 years’ experience in housing and homeless services required.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills including HMIS, Google Apps, and web-based project management software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff recruitment, training, development, and supervision.
• Advocate for client needs and coordinate with partners to secure permanent housing.
• Conduct intakes, oversee housing inspections, and manage monthly budgets with clients.
• Enter client data into HMIS and maintain documentation accuracy and compliance.
• Develop individualized housing plans and track program outcomes.
