Job summary

Via is hiring an Operations Manager to lead daily onsite operations in our Sacramento service area. You will manage fleet, drivers, and city partners, ensuring safe, reliable, and accessible transportation for riders.

This hands-on role requires strong relationship skills, real-time decision making, and the ability to translate feedback into operational improvements. You’ll be in the field 4–5 days a week to keep services running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Run the daily onsite operations of our service to provide riders with safe, reliable, and accessible transportation.
• Make informed, real-time decisions about fleet, driver supply, compliance, rider needs, and unexpected issues to ensure dependable service.
• Guide and support drivers, building strong relationships and ensuring they are equipped to deliver great service.
• Turn rider and community feedback into tangible improvements and collaborate with internal teams to implement actionable operational changes.
• Use data and technology to understand service performance, diagnose problems, and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and rider experience.
• Act as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, and Via central teams to help bring community goals to life.
