Job summary

CBRE in Charlotte, NC is seeking an Onsite Facilities & Office Services Manager to ensure the daily operation of the workplace and deliver exceptional employee experience. This role oversees building operations, safety, and maintenance while engaging with leadership and guests onsite.

The position is fully onsite Monday–Friday, requiring strong leadership, service mindset, and hands-on management of space, vendors, and resources to create a safe, welcoming, and productive office environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily building operations including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety systems, and general maintenance
• Manage relationships with property management, landlords, and third-party vendors
• Coordinate preventative and reactive maintenance programs
• Lead safety initiatives including fire drills, emergency preparedness, and compliance with local regulations
• Manage space planning, moves/adds/changes, and workplace setup
• Monitor facility budgets, service contracts, and purchase orders
• Ensure workplace sustainability and efficiency initiatives are followed
• Serve as the primary onsite point of contact for employees and visitors
• Create a welcoming, organized, and high-functioning office environment
• Oversee reception, conference rooms, kitchens, common areas, and overall office presentation
• Coordinate office events, employee engagement activities, and meetings
• Support new hire onboarding from a workspace and logistics perspective
