Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Facilities Sr. Manager in Morrisville, North Carolina to lead building operations across a portfolio of sites. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license required; Facility Management certification preferred.
• Experience in staffing, training, coaching, and staff performance evaluation.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated information and convey performance expectations.
• Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve operational targets.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
• Extensive organizational skills and an inquisitive mindset.
• Intermediate math skills for calculating percentages, fractions, and financial figures.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, track training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities, establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff.
• Coordinate and manage facility repairs and maintenance with technicians, vendors, and contractors.
• Maintain positive client relationships and conduct meetings on unresolved facility issues.
• Prepare and manage large capital projects, operating budgets, and variance reports.
• Perform facility inspections and quality assurance per regulations; suggest improvements.
• Create environmental health and safety procedures for facilities.
• Develop vendor relationships and oversee invoicing; review and approve purchase orders.
• Apply broad knowledge to align with departmental objectives.
• Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values.
• Identify and solve technical and operational problems of complexity.
• Understand broader impact across the department.
• Improve and change methods and standards within the job discipline.
