Job summary

Maritz seeks an experienced Event Manager for an onsite role in San Francisco to lead high-profile corporate events from concept through flawless execution.

You will coordinate across Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Security, Transportation, and Vendors while developing run-of-show documents, contingency plans, and detailed event plans. Strong communication and problem-solving are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-4+ years of experience managing high-profile corporate, executive, or strategic events.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills with multiple priorities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for client-facing communications.
• Proven ability to anticipate needs, solve problems, and adapt quickly.
• Strong experience managing event logistics, budgets, timelines, and cross-functional partnerships.
• Demonstrated success building trusted relationships with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic advisor to event hosts from concept through execution.
• Lead comprehensive event planning and logistics to the highest standard.
• Anticipate client and attendee needs, identify risks, and implement solutions.
• Partner with Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Executive Production, Security, Transportation, and Janitorial Services.
• Develop detailed event plans, production schedules, run-of-show documents, and contingency plans.
• Manage complex timelines, priorities, and deliverables with meticulous attention to detail.
• Facilitate client consultations, meetings, site visits, and pre-event walkthroughs.
• Lead planning/status meetings with executive stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Maintain accurate event documentation and ensure stakeholders are aligned.
