Maritz in San Francisco is hiring for an Onsite Event Venue Coordinator (Concierge). This full-time onsite role greets guests, guides them, and supports event logistics in a fast-paced venue environment.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in events or hospitality, strong communication and customer service skills, and proficiency with G Suite and Microsoft Office. Compensation ranges from $50,000 to $55,000 annually with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of professional experience in event, hospitality, or meeting management preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proven organizational skills to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Office; ability to quickly learn new technology.
• Ability to meet physical requirements of the role (standing, walking, lifting).

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests and serve as a primary point of contact within the venue.
• Answer guest questions, provide directions, and assist with special requests.
• Manage luggage and coat check services and maintain an organized reception area.
• Monitor and replenish reception and venue supplies as needed.
• Support onsite event operations with Venue Managers on logistics and tasks.
• Serve as a venue ambassador with knowledge of venue amenities and services.
• Assist with shipping/receiving, data entry, and other admin duties; handle confidential information.
