Job summary

Maritz is seeking an Event Manager I to be the primary client contact for assigned meetings onsite at the client’s campus. You will coordinate logistics from planning through execution, ensuring high-quality service across programs.

You will work with internal partners to meet program objectives, manage multiple meetings, and maintain proactive communication with clients to ensure clarity of expectations and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
• Proficiency with G Suite and Microsoft Office.
• Experience in event or meeting management or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary client contact for assigned meetings, managing logistics from planning through execution.
• Coordinate and guide clients through the event planning process with timely, accurate communication.
• Manage a large volume of small to medium-complex meetings with attention to detail.
• Communicate meeting logistics and tasks using internal systems and processes.
• Attend site inspections to support successful event delivery.
• Collaborate with internal service partners (Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Security, Transportation, etc.).
• Maintain proactive, positive communication to ensure clarity of expectations and satisfaction.
