Maritz is seeking an Operations Manager - Onsite Events to lead a team delivering exceptional event experiences. You will oversee planning, execution, and coordination with clients and partners to ensure service levels are met.

This full-time role requires 5+ years in meeting/event planning or hotel catering/convention sales, strong budgeting and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in meeting/event planning or hotel catering/convention sales.
• Strong knowledge of event program management and budget maintenance.
• Proven ability to lead teams and projects, including coaching and developing direct reports.
• Experience building and maintaining client relationships while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Proficiency in G Suite and ability to learn new technology quickly.

Aufgaben

• Direct and support the team in sourcing, planning, and executing client meetings and events.
• Lead team meetings to review productivity, deliverables, and service levels.
• Serve as SME to ensure training consistency and guide individual coaching.
• Review vacation time, expense reports, payroll, and other direct-report systems.
• Manage client meetings to review processes and maintain satisfaction.
• Oversee relationships with partners (Catering, Facilities, AV, Security, Transportation).
