Job summary

Maritz in the United States is seeking an Event Manager II to be the primary client contact for assigned meetings and events onsite at the client campus. You will manage meetings and events from strategy through execution, delivering objectives and exceptional customer service.

Collaborate across Catering, Facilities, Technology & AV, Executive Production, Security, Transportation and Janitorial Services to align all event requirements.

Qualifications

• 3–4+ years of experience managing high-profile corporate, executive, or strategic events.
• Experience partnering with senior leaders and executive stakeholders.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and ability to lead planning discussions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary strategic advisor and trusted partner to event hosts for high-profile events.
• Lead comprehensive event planning and logistics from concept to execution.
• Identify risks and implement solutions to deliver a seamless event experience.
• Coordinate cross-functional service teams to align all event requirements.
• Develop detailed event plans, schedules, run-of-show docs, and contingency plans.
• Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables with high attention to detail.
• Facilitate client consultations, site visits, and pre-event walkthroughs.
• Lead planning/status meetings with executive stakeholders and maintain trust.
• Maintain accurate event documentation and communicate updates to stakeholders.
• Oversee onsite execution with event teams to meet client objectives.
