Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an onsite Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on IT support across multiple locations in Columbus, OH. The role emphasizes customer service, independence, and effective problem solving for workstation-related issues.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, contract position. Experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 is required, along with ITIL-based processes.

Qualifications

3–5+ years of desktop support, field services, or technical support experience.
Experience supporting Windows 10/11 environments.
Strong hardware and software troubleshooting skills.
Experience supporting printers, peripherals, laptops, and desktops.
Experience with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Cherwell, or similar.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Knowledge of Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
Familiarity with ITIL-based service support processes.

Responsibilities

Provide onsite IT support for users across multiple locations.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and peripherals and resolve workstation issues.
