Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking candidates to support an IT department's Desktop Support team in Brook Park, Ohio. This role targets individuals with Helpdesk/Desktop Support experience and IT certifications are desirable.

The position offers a Contract to Hire path and is fully onsite. Salary ranges from $16.00 to $17.00 per hour, with a focus on diagnosing and resolving software/hardware issues, deploying Windows 10/11, and providing strong customer service.

Qualifications

• Previous Helpdesk or Desktop Support or PC Technician experience is preferred.
• CompTIA Certifications are desirable for this role.
• This will be a first shift opportunity on a Contract to Hire basis.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including Windows and Mac operating systems.
• Swapping out laptops/desktops and deploying Windows 10/11; re-imaging Windows 11.
• Assist users with IT incidents; take ownership and escalate when necessary.
• Record, update and document requests using the IT service desk system.
• Install and configure new IT equipment; resolve incidents with printers, copiers, and scanners.
• Maintain a first-class level of customer service; ensure professional interaction with users.
