Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Deskside Technician to provide on-site IT support at Greenwich, CT. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, printers, and connectivity, and manage Microsoft 365 user accounts while performing workstation deployments and onboarding/offboarding tasks.

The ideal candidate has strong desktop support and experience with Windows 10/11, Active Directory, and basic networking; excellent customer service and the ability to support executive users.

Qualifications

• Must have strong desktop support and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience supporting Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Azure/Entra ID.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a client-facing environment.
• Professional demeanor with experience supporting executive-level users.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day onsite IT support for end users.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues.
• Support Microsoft 365 applications and user accounts.
• Perform workstation deployments, setup, and refreshes.
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding activities.
• Coordinate with remote Service Desk and Engineering teams for escalations.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, resolutions, and asset inventory.
• Deliver white-glove support to executive and VIP users.
• Support network, wireless, and conference room technology as needed.
• Ensure timely ticket updates and adherence to service expectations.
