Job summary

TEKsystems in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Desktop Support technician for a contract role onsite. You will support desktop hardware, software, and network issues, install and maintain computers and peripherals, and handle imaging and deployments for a large lifecycle refresh.

Responsibilities include day-to-day ticket handling, device replacements, and partnering on the Windows 12 migration plan. This temporary role offers onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package for eligible staff.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency with desktop hardware and Windows 10.
• Experience deploying and imaging devices in a corporate environment.
• Familiarity with printers, scanners and peripheral devices.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person support for software, hardware and network issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, laptops and peripherals.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems to minimize downtime.
• Log support requests and actions in the ticketing system.
