Job summary

CompucomStaffing in New York, NY is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join the team onsite. You will be the face of IT for the office, own issues from start to finish, and coordinate with remote teams as needed.

Responsibilities include deskside and end-user support, onboarding/offboarding, setting up meeting rooms, site ownership, and travel within NYC to support events and partner locations, with documentation and knowledge-base maintenance added.

Qualifications

3+ years of IT or desktop support experience.
Independent onsite IT resource experience.
macOS troubleshooting with enterprise end-user tech (MDM Jamf, Okta, Google Workspace)
Device onboarding/offboarding and asset management.
Conference room and video conferencing support.
VIP user support preferred.
Wi-Fi and networking basics.
Jira/ITSM ticketing and escalation.
Runbook and knowledge-base contributions.
Strong prioritization and ownership.
Excellent communication and discretion.
Travel within NYC; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Provide deskside and walk-up support for macOS, accounts, SaaS apps, network, printing, and peripherals.
Own Jira tickets from first touch to resolution; escalate as needed.
Deliver high-touch support for local leaders and VIPs.
