Job summary

CompucomStaffing is seeking a Deskside Support Technician to join our client’s onsite team in New York, NY. You will handle deskside and end-user support, own Jira tickets, and provide high-touch service to local leaders and VIPs.

The role requires independent work, experience with macOS, and familiarity with Jamf/Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom. Travel within NYC for events and offsite support may be needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT or end-user support experience.
• Independent onsite IT resource with strong ownership.
• Experience macOS and enterprise end-user tech.
• Familiar with Jira ITSM and ticket workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on deskside and walk-up support for macOS, accounts, SaaS, and peripherals.
• Own Jira tickets from first touch through resolution; escalate as needed.
• Support local leaders and VIPs with high-touch service.
• Onboard/offboard devices; manage inventory and stockroom.
• Set up rooms and support conferences and hybrid meetings.
• Travel within NYC to support offsite events or partner spaces.
• Serve as primary IT contact for workplace and facilities; coord with vendors.
