Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Customer Account Coordinator for our Huntsville, AL plant. The role acts as the main liaison between sales, internal teams, and customers, owning the order process from start to finish with accuracy and urgency.

The position involves order entry, item setup, light accounting, and cross-functional communication. On-site daily with a schedule of standard business hours, 7:50am to 5:00pm EST, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer service in a fast-paced setting such as manufacturing or logistics.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and calm under pressure.
• Strong communication skills and cross-department relationship building.
• Highly organized with attention to data integrity and account accuracy.
• Willingness to work on-site daily.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer accounts with proactive communication via phone and email.
• Create and maintain spreadsheets to track inventory and order status.
• Enter orders, cancellations, and changes with accuracy.
• Coordinate shipments with the shipping department.
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance to address customer feedback and root causes.
• Assist with accounts payable/receivable duties as needed.
• Utilize Microsoft Office Suite daily.
