Job summary

Actalent in Ohio is seeking a Project Coordinator to oversee construction projects, coordinating with project executives, field managers, foremen, and subcontractors to define project scope, scheduling, and labor expectations.

You will manage RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings, track costs and gross profit, and provide on-site hands-on oversight while attending weekly meetings and coordinating with subcontractors and vendors.

Qualifications

• 0-5 years of experience in or around commercial construction.
• Strong communication skills and multitasking ability.
• Desire to learn RFIs, RFOs, billings, and job costing.
• References that speak to organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive projects from the project executive and estimating team.
• Coordinate with foremen and subcontractors to develop scope and schedule.
• Schedule and coordinate shop drawings.
• Prepare and submit submittals and track equipment orders.
• Ensure the project’s projected gross profit is realized or exceeded.
• Provide on-site hands-on control of all projects.
• Develop and track RFIs, RCOs, and monitor job costs.
