Actalent is seeking a detail-oriented project coordination specialist for a contract-to-hire role in Detroit, MI. The position supports Project Managers, maintains documentation, tracks milestones, and ensures timely delivery of materials and paperwork.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in project coordination, strong organizational skills, and excellent communication. Onsite work with a comprehensive benefits package is offered.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in project coordination, administrative coordination, operations support, or office management.
• Strong organizational skills for documents, schedules, and records.
• Able to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with internal/external stakeholders.
• Experience supporting project-based work or coordinating across teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and coordination support to Project Managers and teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Maintain project files, documentation, logs, and correspondence in an organized manner.
• Track deliverables, deadlines, and milestones to keep projects on schedule.
• Process purchase orders, invoices, change orders, and related paperwork accurately.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare materials, and maintain minutes and action items.
• Communicate regularly with customers, vendors, and internal teams for updates and clarifications.
• Support material procurement and monitor delivery status for timely availability.
• Assist with project reporting and data entry to ensure accuracy.
• Help prepare closeout documentation and turnover packages for handoffs.
• Perform other project support duties as assigned.
