Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and financial functions of a housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in rent delinquency management, cash flow optimization, and maintaining compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise onsite staff, participate in leasing, maintenance, and administration, and contribute to budgeting and risk management to ensure resident

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under Community Manager supervision.
• Manage accounts receivable, posting payments, and reconciling daily receipts.
• Monitor delinquency, send late notices, contact residents/guarantors, and file evictions as needed.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges, bill back utilities, and handle end-of-month closing procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and audit resident files.
• Show, lease, and move-in prospective residents; ensure compliance with policies.

Education

High School Diploma or Equivalent

Bachelor’s degree preferred
