Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise onsite staff, handle rent collection, postings, and reporting to optimize cash flow and NOI.

The role requires strong customer service, knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA guidelines, and the ability to manage leasing, maintenance, administration, and risk.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Posting all payments and income from applicants, residents, and non-residents with accuracy and timeliness.
• Processing and reconciling daily all accounts receivable and monitoring bad debt.
• Maintenance of accurate records and audit of resident files.
• Supervising onsite staff and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety guidelines.
• Managing leasing activities, customer service, and administrative duties to meet budgeted revenues and NOI.
• Walkthroughs of the property, posting move-out charges, and handling security deposits.
