Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community under the Community Manager. You will supervise staff, support leasing, maintenance, admin, and risk management while ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes on-site leadership, delinquency management, rent collection, budget targets, and resident satisfaction, with opportunities for growth within Asset Living's

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred and housing industry experience are valued.
• Basic computer skills required and familiarity with onsite software.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor and follow up on bad debt and file evictions when needed.
• Assist in achieving budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities when applicable.
• Complete end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
