Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage rent collection, and ensure compliance with safety and fair housing laws while supporting budget goals and property performance.

The role requires onsite leadership, conflict resolution, and proactive communication with residents and vendors, ensuring a high level of service and occupancy.

Qualifications

• Oversee daily operations and finances of housing community.
• Ability to manage delinquency, rent collection, and cash flow.
• Supervise staff and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and issue late notices; assist with evictions.
• Support budgeted revenues/expenses and NOI targets.
• Oversee end-of-month closings and reporting.
• Maintain organized resident files and records.
• Conduct unit walk-throughs and post move-out charges.
• Lead staffing, training, and performance coaching.
