Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations for our housing community under the supervision of the Community Manager. You will manage rent collection, delinquency, and cash flow, while supervising onsite staff and ensuring adherence to policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

You will lead leasing, maintenance coordination, and financial reporting, providing excellent service to residents and supporting a positive community experience.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s preferred or 2 years housing industry experience
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations as onsite leader under Community Manager.
• Manage rent collections, delinquency and cash flow.
• Supervise staff, training and performance coaching.
• Monitor maintenance, safety, and compliance with policies.
• Prepare and reconcile ongoing financial reporting and invoicing.
• Support marketing and leasing activities to maximize occupancy.
• Respond to resident concerns and ensure high levels of resident satisfaction.
