Job summary

Asset Living invites applications for an Assistant Community Manager. This onsite role supports the Community Manager in daily operations, rent collection, budgeting, leasing, and maintenance oversight. You will supervise staff, ensure policy compliance, and help optimize cash flow while maintaining resident satisfaction.

The position emphasizes hands-on leadership, adherence to fair housing guidelines, and collaboration with teams to meet financial and operational goals.

Qualifications

• Proficient in onsite property management software and basic computer skills.
• Strong financial acumen for rent collection and budgeting.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations under supervision of Community Manager.
• Manage rent collection, delinquency mitigation, and cash flow
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure compliance with policies and safety guidelines.
• Assist with leasing, maintenance, administration & risk management in the absence of the Community Manager.
• Monitor budgeted revenues and expenses to support NOI.
• Conduct property inspections and ensure timely repairs and record-keeping.
