Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and financial functions of a housing community. You will supervise staff, manage rent collections, and ensure compliance with policies and fair housing guidelines.

The role emphasizes delinquency management, leasing, maintenance oversight, and strong customer service to optimize cash flow and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in housing industry or related field preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post and reconcile payments; manage rents and charges.
• Monitor accounts receivable and late notices; file evictions when needed.
• Supervise onsite staff and ensure policy compliance and safety.
• Plan leasing, marketing and resident retention initiatives.
• Coordinate maintenance, vendor relations and inspections.
