Job summary

Asset Living seeks an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations of a housing community, reporting to the Community Manager. The role focuses on rent collection, financial management, and staff supervision while ensuring compliance with company policies and fair housing guidelines.

You will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk, and help maintain budgeted revenues and NOI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee posting of payments and income accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt; send late notices and manage evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Complete end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
