Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of a housing community in Gretna, NE, reporting to the Regional Manager. You will supervise on-site staff, manage leasing, maintenance, finances, and risk, ensuring compliance with policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines.

You will develop yearly operating budgets, marketing plans, and resident retention initiatives while maintaining excellent customer service and responsive handling of resident requests.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all on-site operations and staff.
• Manage personnel, leasing, maintenance and finances.
• Ensure compliance with Asset’s policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.
• Develop yearly operating budgets and marketing plans.
• Monitor rent collections and vendor invoices; ensure timely reporting.
