Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community on-site under the Regional Manager. You will supervise staff, leasing, maintenance, financial, administrative and risk management functions to ensure compliance with policies, safety and fair housing guidelines.

Responsibilities include budgeting, leasing, staff training, and resident relations, with a focus on maximizing NOI and resident satisfaction through effective leadership and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular/daily onsite attendance is required.
• Supervise all aspects of the property and staff to ensure compliance with Asset’s policies and procedures, safety and fair housing guidelines, and liability concerns.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor rent collections and deposits; ensure timely reporting and reconciliations.
• Promote harmony and quality job performance of staff through effective leadership and coaching.
• Develop and implement resident retention programs and marketing plans.
