Job summary

Asset Living is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations under the Community Manager. You will help manage rent collection, cash flow, and all property administration while ensuring policy compliance and resident satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on supervision of staff and leasing activities onsite. You will coordinate with maintenance, leasing, and admin teams to meet budgets and service levels, supporting a safe, compliant, and welcoming community for residents

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Ability to understand and perform onsite software functions; basic computer skills.
• Basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from applicants and residents accurately and timely.
• Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable.
• Monitor bad debt and prepare late notices and evictions.
• Assist in meeting budgeted revenues, expenses, and Net Operating Income.
• Post charges to resident accounts and bill back utilities where applicable.
• Perform end-of-month closing procedures and reporting.
