Job summary

Asset Living is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the operations of a housing community onsite under the supervision of the Regional Manager. You will supervise all aspects of property operations, including personnel, leasing, maintenance, finance, administration, and risk management.

As an on-site leader, you will ensure compliance with Asset policies, safety, and fair housing guidelines while driving net operating income through budgeting and leasing strategies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent; Bachelor’s degree preferred or four year’s experience in the housing industry; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Apartment Manager (CAM) or Accredited Resident Manager (ARM) preferred.
• Ability to understand and perform all on-site software functions; basic computer skills required.
• Must have basic knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regular daily onsite attendance is required.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop on-site staff.
• Develop yearly operating budgets/forecasts.
• Monitor deposits, rent collections, and charges; ensure timely submission.
• Monitor vendor invoices and property financial reporting.
• Ensure property closeout and owner financial reports are accurate.
• Strategic leasing management and development of yearly marketing plans.
• Respond to resident complaints and maintain resident retention programs.
