Job summary

Asset Living in Chattanooga is seeking an Assistant Community Manager to oversee daily operations and the financial functions of a multifamily community. You will act under the Community Manager, ensuring smooth rent collection, budgeting, and resident care.

You will supervise onsite staff, manage leasing, maintenance, and risk management while upholding compliant policies and high service standards. Prior housing experience and knowledge of Fair Housing Laws are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred or two years housing industry experience.
• Ability to perform onsite software functions and basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and financial functions of the housing community.
• Supervise onsite staff and enforce company policies.
• Manage leasing, maintenance, administration & resident relations.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing Guidelines, safety standards, and liability controls.
• Balance accounts, process payments, and prepare routine financial reports.
