Job summary

Asset Living is hiring an Assistant Community Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations and financial functions of a housing community under the Community Manager. You will play a vital role in delinquency control and rent collection to optimize cash flow and financial position.

You will supervise operations, leasing, maintenance, and risk management on-site, ensuring adherence to policies and fair housing guidelines.

Qualifications

• Finance and rent collection procedures knowledge.
• Ability to manage operations including leasing, maintenance, and administration.
• Experience supervising staff in a property management environment.

Responsibilities

• Post payments and income from residents and applicants accurately and timely.
• Reconcile daily accounts receivable and follow up on bad debt.
• Assist in achieving budgeted revenues, expenses, and NOI.
• Record charges to resident accounts and bill utilities when applicable.
• Perform end-of-month close procedures and reporting.
• Maintain organized records and audit resident files for accuracy.
• Inspect units and post move-out charges and security items.
