Job summary

Greystar seeks an Assistant Community Manager to support the community’s financial operations and day-to-day administration. You will handle rent collection, deposits, and reporting while using Yardi/OneSite/Entrata to record and back up data.

The role emphasizes leasing support, vendor coordination, and resident communications, with an expected focus on accuracy, excellent service, and teamwork within the property management team.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years minimum of relevant experience in residence life and/or property management.
• Understanding of lease terms and lease enforcement, including collections.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Process rent, fees, and other payments; prepare daily deposits and reconcile bank accounts.
• Operate property management software and ensure data integrity.
• Review residents’ accounts for unpaid or late fees; collect on delinquencies.
• Process invoices, payables, and vendor communications; code charges accordingly.
• Support on-site supervision and coordinate maintenance and make-ready tasks.
• Provide good customer service to residents and assist in client/owner communications.
